The campus includes Level II trauma capabilities, a Neuroscience Institute, The Heart & Vascular Hospital, a bariatrics program, the Breast Diagnostic Center, a wound care center, a level III Neonatal ICU, and the area’s only pediatric emergency department and pediatric ICU.HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lakeis affiliated with HCA Houston Healthcare, part of the HCA Healthcare Gulf Coast Division. Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Department of Cardiopulmonary Services.
When necessary the incumbent administers respiratory therapy care and life support to patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of cardiopulmonary system, under supervision of Physician and by prescription, byperforming the following duties. Education:
Graduate of AMA approved Respiratory Therapy Technician Program and credentialed as a Respiratory Therapist by the National Board for Respiratory Therapy. Additional requirements include RRT Registry. Bachelors degree preferred. What qualifications will need:
2 years of supervisory and clinical experience in an acute care setting. Critical Care experience is required.
American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support course (BLS or BCLS) and certification is required.
American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Life Support course (ALS or ACLS) and certification is required.
