Job Duties and Responsibilities

You will:
Lead the development of a Kubernetes based engineering platform for internal development teams
Work with internal customers to make sure product meets their needs and establish roadmap
Ensure product roadmap and vision are communicated to the development team
Break down and prioritize delivery of products and features by developing and maintaining the product backlog, user stories, and cross-product dependencies
Elicit, identify, document, and refine requirements from business problems to detailed user stories and acceptance criteria that may include technical requirements
Proactively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders, developers, QA, and other team members to analyze information and functional requirements, advocate the development process through to implementation, and ensure the delivered product meets business needs
Collaborate with stakeholders/developers/QA during product development through implementation including making architectural decisions when necessary
Manage stakeholder needs & requests while balancing product roadmap priorities
Facilitate iteration planning sessions, daily team stand-ups, grooming sessions, and retros
Track and report on team work completed, capacity, backlog, velocity, etc.
Forecast product/feature delivery timelines
Use metrics and feedback to improve team and organization processes, best practices, performance, and delivery
Assist with deployments and production support issues

Basic Requirements:
A successful Technical Product Owner will have:
Be available to work onsite out of our American Fork, UT or Englewood, CO offices
BA/BS in a technical or business discipline (information systems, engineering, computer science, finance, business administration, or accounting) or combination of education and experience
3+ years of Product Owner, Product Manager, Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, Project Manager or equivalent combination of education and experience
Prior experience in Kubernetes, Devops, CI/CD pipeline, Jira, ServiceNow, GitLab, Docker, Container Orchestration, Hashicorp Stack, etc. Demonstrated understanding of and experience using standard SDLC processes and methodologies
Demonstrated knowledge and proven experience with AWS, and Google Cloud Platform services and Infrastructure as Code methodologies
Proven track record of leadership of product accomplishments including successful project launches
