Mechanical Water Treatment Specialist Delta, UT System One is currently seeking a strong Mechanical Water Treatment Specialist to complete the commissioning of 2 on 1 (Mitsubishi J Series turbine) and Nooter HRSG. This position will focus on the water treatment part of power plant with RO water, EDI and clarifiers. Mechanical Water Treatment Specialist Responsibilities:
Work with operators to track water chemistry and keep a log.
Make sure there are adequate testing supplies.
Work with the control room supervisor to adjust blowdowns and chemical feeds as required.
Keep sample system clear and maintain adequate flows for analyzers to work
Work with vendor and I/C techs as needed to keep analyzers calibrated.
Work with construction on hydros.
Perform initial equipment and pump check-out.
Perform all system line flushes.
Provide oversight to sub-contractors performing activities such as oil flushes, hydrolyzing, chemical clean, steam blows.
Mechanical Water Treatment Specialist Requirements:
Ten (10) years experience in combine cycle with commissioning and completion
Practical knowledge of mechanical systems and water treatment systems of combine cycle plant.
