Sr Implementation Engineer (non-coding role)
Salt Lake City, Utah (remote for now)
Contract to Hire or Direct Hire
Target Pay $60/hr - $65/hr while contract
$115k - $120k base salary once direct hire

Job Summary:
This is a role for someone who started or worked in software development, and then shifted to a more customer interfacing role with software implementations. There is an emphasis on the technical and client/merchant customer engagement to be successful in this role.

This is a non-coding engineering role as you interact with the software teams from the Product team perspective. You must be able to understand enough of the coding language in a software implementation. Someone to speak to the technical solution as a consultant about the solution to a client customer, rather than someone who is learning about the software as you go.

As part of the software implementation team, you would continually review the technical solution from the parent company that will be implemented to the customer and advise the implementation manager and other members on the team what is missing and identify possible solutions to fix the process.

Will start out remote, then be willing to go work onsite at their Utah offices once it is safe again.

Required Skills / Experience

• 4+ years of previous software development experience coding in C# or .NET
• 3+ years with software client integrations, preferably with ecommerce solutions
• 2 years experience working with virtualization for continuous delivery / continuous integration.
• Some experience or familiarity with SOA, and API's
• Experience working with platform communications for software such as tokens, polling, webhooks, eventing and similar
• Some UX design or good sense for interactive designs
