DescriptionPosition Summary:This systems engineer will assist the United States Air Force manage its internal MS&A efforts for Sentinel program, analyzing the prime contractor’s MS&A data modules, and preparing reports for model validation. The candidate will interface with the prime contractor to ensure it meets the U.S. Government’s intent with respect to MS&A products and artifacts. The candidate will also consult to the USAF system program office concerning MS&A topics. This unique position will allow the candidate to view all MS&A efforts for the Sentinel weapon system and will provide great growth potential.Required Skills and Experience:
B.S. in a STEM field with 6 years of Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A) experience, or M.S. in a STEM field with 4 years of MS&A experience
Proactive person with a positive attitude and a “team player” mentality
Highly organized with acute attention to detail
Possess a willingness to learn while also sharing your current knowledge/skills
Proactively provides ideas/thought
Strong communication skills
Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance is required.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Prior experience with DoD weapons systems
Specific ICBM weapon system experience a plus
Experience in Verification and Validation of software tools a plus
