DescriptionWe can't predict what the future holds, but we know Texas Instruments will have a part in shaping it.In this role, you will provide analyses of end of line probe/test, parametric, and process data to source yield and qual limiting issues on new products in the high volume manufacturing phase. You will take the results of these analyses to fab, design, integration, and product teams to drive issues to solution. You will also participate in efforts to speed up analysis efficiency through scripting, dashboards creation, modeling, and advanced analytical techniques. You will be required to understand the details of electrical testing, parametric and fab data to effectively develop failure models. Creativity in developing new analytical tools to improve efficiency and accuracy is needed. Responsibilities also include leading and coordinating cross-functional teams in order to solve complex, multi-faceted issues.Product engineers have the following responsibilities:
Full ownership of multi-probe and final test data for a technology nodes. This will include:
a. Daily multi-probe yield trending, analysis, and disposition.b. Wafer map signature reviewsc. Yield Pareto Creation and communication to the fab of top priority strategic issues.d. Quantify yield issues across multiple technologiese. Quick sourcing to inline process module tool/recipe/process for deviationsf. Collaboration with the business units on multi-probe test debug, test insertion removals, and design limitationsg. Collaboration with the probe sites on lot priorities, SWR execution, and tester related issuesh. Determine risk vs reward based on multi-probe data for experimental processes and provide a recommendation on path forwardi. Support release to production for new devicesj. Lead and/or attend focus team meetings as the PDE representative. Participate in model based problem solving to get to root source of an issue.
