We are looking for someone thatwill lead and execute based on facts and data and not emotions and anecdotes. As Product Development Manager, you will be in charge of owning the activities within the product development lifecycle stages of Design, Develop, Launch, and Iterate. Specifically, you will be focused on usability, user experience, requirements, design, performance, testing, and delivery. You will report to a Product General Manager who oversees a wider group of products resembling a small startup inside the MX organization and work with them to establish a product roadmap.
What you’ll do:Identify, investigate and validate problems in order to find, test and design solutions
Work with engineering to develop valuable solutions and validate your solutions with clients to ensure a quality user experience
Create and execute product launch plans
Thinking through the pros and cons of a solution and using data to drive the right option
Manage the delivery of the product
Work closely with engineering counterparts in determining priorities and making judgement calls if and when things change
Work closely with customer success and partnerships to ensure clients are satisfied with the features delivered and help remove roadblocks when needed
Thinkthrough the pros and cons of a solution and using data to drive the right option
Empathizewith users through research and usability testing sessions
Giveincredible attention to detail and obsessing over simplicity and consistency
Mock-up and communicate ideas and concepts effectively
Accept and give thoughtful critique in a collaborative environment
A solid understanding of API’s/SDK’s
5 years experience in product development and an understanding of the fundamentals of running a segment of SaaS business
An entrepreneurial heart with a competitive spirit, a love of building, and courage to get out of the building and hustle
Strong execution skills and successful project management experience
Stellar customer relationship management
The ability to crunch the numbers and contribute to quarterly and annual reviews
