As the Social Media Manager, you will drive MX’s social media initiatives by managing and executing social campaigns through MX’s owned channels including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. Reporting to the Director of Communications, you will manage social media end-to-end, including planning, execution, managing vendor and agency relationships, and reporting.
What you’ll do …Own end-to-end creation and execution of social media strategies and campaigns
Define social media KPIs and reporting
Ensure brand consistency across social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
Manage and oversee content creation working with content, marketing, brand and creative teams
Train employees on best practices and opportunities to leverage social media for thought leadership and selling
Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
Support paid social and marketing campaigns
Be the expert on digital channels, understanding the MX reach and competitive landscape. Report across the organization on wins, losses, and risks based on competitive research
4-6 years of experience creating successful social media programs
A data-driven approach to social media and marketing
An iterative builder’s mindset, meaning the ability to constantly monitor and optimize digital programs
Ability to both take direction and provide strategic insight
Thinking like an owner (having a “founder’s mindset”)
Communicating with honesty, candor, and respect
