Plus, MoreWe are hiring for a A&P Rover Mechanic - Rotor Wing to support the daily maintenance of the helicopters across our region. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, repairs, and modifications to airframes, rotors and appliances. Our Field Maintenance team maintains our helicopters to the highest standards possible. This is a full-time travel position, traveling via air and ground to assigned work locations.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
Maintains company aircraft in a safe and efficient manner with emphasis on compliance
Ability and willingness to travel, working days, nights, weekends, and be on-call 24/7 during the duty period assigned
Will be available for maintenance related matters 24 hours a day except for on his scheduled days off.
Monitor aircraft maintenance status and maintain liaison with the regional maintenance personnel to ensure proper and timely scheduled and unscheduled maintenance is accomplished.
Keep the local Senior Base AMT, informed of all operational matters that should be brought to the attention of Company management.
Manage base inventory
Maintain the base library and company owned ground support equipment
Will be available for maintenance related matters 24 hours a day except for on his scheduled days off.
Submit all appropriate paperwork in a neat and timely manner.
Report any major malfunctions, aircraft damage to the appropriate individuals in the most expeditious manner.
Perform other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSMinimum of 2 years of helicopter maintenance required (open to all rotorcraft experience)
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Valid and current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) required
Valid and current FAA Inspection Authorization preferred
Valid and current Driver's License required
Must be acceptable in accordance with the FAA drug and alcohol testing program
Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations, and of EMS aviation practices and requirements preferred
Maintenance experience on current AS350, Bell 206, Bell 407, EC130, EC135 highly preferred
Avionics troubleshooting knowledge and basic electrical repair experience required.
Aircraft records and systems knowledge required.
Aircraft maintenance planning experience required.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
Capable of lifting 50lbs.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL & MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Travel between Georgia and West Virginia bases to support maintenance needs is required
