USU is currently hiring teachers to provide clinical instruction to USU nursing students on a PRN/per diem basis. Positions are located at the Logan campus and may also include locations in the Ogden and Salt Lake areas.This is a non-benefited, ACA Variable positionResponsibilities
Follows an approved course of student instruction with measurable objective for each clinical course taught.
Instructs, manages, and supervises individuals and groups in clinical and/or lab settings.
Evaluates learning.
Maintains and submits student evaluations and records.
Counsels students as needed.
Assists nursing program in maintaining an effective program.
Maintains safe clinical conditions.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a BSN degree (or BSN degree in process with graduation date expected in less than or equal to two years)
Licensure as a Registered Nurse in good standing with the State of Utah (or eligible to obtain Utah licensure).
Preferred Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a MSN degree.
Minimum of two years clinical nursing experience.
