Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Administer and coordinate all applicable security activities in strict accordance with corporate policies and federal security regulations, directives, and manuals governing the safeguarding of National Security Information
Cultivate and sustain collaborative relationships with U.S. Government (USG) agencies, external customers, contractors, employees, and managers
Coordinate with USG entities to obtain official rulings, interpretations, and approved deviations to ensure comprehensive compliance with relevant regulations
Interface with customers to prepare security clearance requests, process internal and external visit requests, and perform other duties as assigned to support operational needs
Work closely with assigned program teams to support the achievement of mission objectives and programmatic goals through security advisory and compliance efforts
Draft, publish, and implement security plans, operating procedures, concept of operations (CONOPS), transportation plans, and program briefings
Conduct and maintain inventory of classified media and system equipment
Oversee the destruction of assigned classified media and equipment
Conduct comprehensive security audits and inspections to assess compliance with government regulations; provide detailed reports of findings and recommend corrective actions to the security leadership team
Conduct regular self-inspections, identify deficiencies, track open issues, and resolve problems
Inspect and manage access control and intrusion detection systems for assigned spaces
Qualifications
U.S. citizenship, with an active Secret security clearance
Minimum of 1 year of experience directly related to industrial security; bachelor's degree preferred
Experience with U.S. Government (USG) classification marking and safeguarding requirements
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information to various audiences and levels of the organization
Proficiency with standard office software, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and related programs
Self-motivated with the ability to take ownership of assigned duties and work independently with minimal supervision
Flexibility to travel and work extended hours as required
Preferred
Experience with CCTV, intrusion detection, and access control systems
Experience with NCAISS/NISS, DISS/NBIS, or other USG-mandated systems
The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with classified programs, demonstrating a thorough understanding of 32 CFR 117 (National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual or NISPOM).
