Our Engineer / Maintenance Supervisor role will allow you to lead and train engineer/maintenance team members in all technical and non-technical areas. This individual will be comfortable leading various projects from start to finish as well as focused on maintaining a safe and productive work environment.Lead and supervise the engineering and maintenance team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluationsDevelop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all hotel systems and equipmentAbility to troubleshoot and repair all hotel systems including all H.V.A.C&R systems, laundry equipment, kitchen equipment, water and wastewater systems, carpentry, tile, plumbing, painting and minor automotive repairsAssume responsibilities of the Director of Engineering and Engineer Manager in their absenceMaintain complete knowledge of hotel fire system, water system and sewage system.Respond to all Guest Requests within a very timely mannerRespond to all emergency or life threatening situationsFollow established safety procedures and ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulationsLog and communicate all essential information in Engineering logsManage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring optimal stock levelsCoordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance projectsParticipate in budget planning and cost control for the engineering departmentImplement energy-saving initiatives and sustainable practices in hotel operationsConduct regular inspections of hotel facilities to identify and address potential issuesDuties include emergency on call status
