RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client, a growing company in Provo, UT, is seeking a PCB Design Engineer. We are working directly with the Hiring Manager on this exclusive search assignment. In this role, the PCB Layout Design Engineer will work on a cross functional team of capable and experienced technicians and engineers who are working to scale and commercialize cutting edge electronic products. Working with our team, this position will support the development, control, maintenance of controlled Engineering and Production documentation.
Responsibilities:
The PCB Design Engineer will work within a team to design, develop, fabricate changes to existing and new products
Design and develops layouts of printed circuit boards
Modify existing layouts and ensure designs are free of layout defects
Work with fabrication house to achieve robust design
Troubleshoot PCB, hardware, and design issues
The PCB Design Engineer will apply CAD software to hardware product development projects - Altium preferred
Conduct product testing
Create models and prototypes
Evaluate, test, and document the performance of various systems and products
Maintains Production Documentation and Product Configuration Management
As a PCB Layout Design Engineer, this role will work with contract manufacturers to assist and troubleshoot their processing of the company's designs
REQUIREMENTS:
AS degree or BSEET, BSEE or equivalent work experience
Experience with CAD systems, preferably Altium or similar system
Experience in reading electrical schematics
Experience with Analog and/or Digital Design or RF
PCB design and layout experience is required
Excellent time management required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Experience with radar, RF, and UAV's are plusses but not required
