We are looking for a caring and patient individual to take care of a 33-year old female with Huntington’s disease. This job offers a challenging yet rewarding experience with flexible hours.
Schedule: 20 hours/week during waking hours; schedule will be mutually agreed upon with employer
Duties:
Administers oral medication
Supervises walking, bathing, and meals
Prepares and cleans up meals
Drives to Orem for rec classes that are mainly for socialization with friends
Supervises at fitness classes
Cleans occasional incontinent accidents
Helps with personal care tasks, i.e. nails, hair, dressing, showers
Offers companionship
Helps clean her room (make bed, help put away clothes, etc.)
Helps manage her phone and FitBit when they need charging or problem-solving

Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent
Must possess a valid driver’s license
Must be able to lift 50+ lbs
First aid and CPR certification a plus
CNA a plus
