Job Essentials
Accountable for safe and effective delivery of patient care under the direction of the technologist.
Assists in the preparation of the patient for the exam and is sensitive to the needs of the patient while in their care.
Assist patients on and off procedure tables and to and from procedure rooms.
Assists and/or oversees coordination of patient care.
Routinely inspects transport equipment and notifies appropriate personnel when repair is necessary.
May perform IV insertion upon certification and skill pass off.
Minimum Qualifications
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
High School diploma or GED completion
Preferred Qualifications
Patient care or customer service experience.
IV Certification
