This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Learn more about the GBSD program here.Job Description:The successful candidate will support the Product Support Team in the following areas: Research, develop, design, and test electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks Design electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes Apply extensive technical expertise, and full knowledge of other related disciplines Be able to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings Develop technical solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity Be able to perform work without appreciable direction Guide the successful completion of major programs and function in a project leadership role Represent the organization as the technical lead on projects Interact with senior external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizationsRoles and responsibilities:The candidate will be responsible for their projects, preparing reports, and briefing leadership. Frequent inter-organization and outside customer communication is required and the candidate represents the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects. For Principal Electrical Engineer: Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or a STEM discipline with 5 years of relatable engineering experience; Masters degree with 3 years of experience; 0 years with a PhD

For Sr. Principal Electrical Engineer:Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or a STEM discipline with 9 years of relatable engineering experience; Masters degree with 7 years of experience; 4 years with a PhD

Experience establishing product requirements, design of electrical equipment

Active Secret security clearance

Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills

Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite - Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word

Preferred Qualifications:

Hands on experience in equipment maintenance, fabrication, assembly, power, hand and measuring tools

In depth Aerospace / ICBM maintenance experience

Knowledge in design of mechanical and electrical ICBM subsystems

Knowledge in the development of Support Equipment design solutions

Experience conducting analysis of electrical components, determining effectiveness and creating written recommendations for increasing efficiency and effectivenes

Proficient with 3D design / 2D drawing CAD utilizing NX
