At Alignment.io, sales is about helping leaders achieve their boldest visions. As our first Outbound Sales Development Representative (OSDR), you’ll have the opportunity to work directly with the CEO, co-founder, and leadership team to establish and scale our go-to-market motion. You’ll play a critical role in shaping how Alignment.io empowers CEOs and leaders to align their teams and execute bold, strategic visions.
This role also partners closely with our Customer Success team to ensure new customers successfully implement and lead the Alignment Operating Rhythm in their organizations. By working at the intersection of sales and customer success, you’ll gain invaluable experience in how alignment transforms teams into high-performing units.

Role Description
As an Outbound Sales Development Representative (OSDR) at Alignment.io, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth by connecting with CEOs and executives at companies ranging from small growth-stage startups to well-funded, high-scale enterprises. Your mission is to introduce the Alignment Operating Rhythm, our proven system for uniting teams and driving strategic execution.
In this role, you will:
Conduct outbound calls, emails, and targeted outreach to engage with key decision-makers.
Set up meetings and demos with yourself and leaders from Alignment.io.
Lead these meetings, presenting Alignment.io and facilitating discussions to explore alignment opportunities.
Collaborate with the leadership team to ensure meetings drive meaningful next steps for potential customers.

Where You’ll Work
Alignment.io is opening a new sales hub office in Salt Lake City, and this hire will be among the first to join the team, alongside a Customer Success hire. This is an exciting opportunity to help establish and grow our presence in one of the nation’s most dynamic business communities.
You’ll work in-office five days a week, collaborating closely with the founding team and your peers. Beyond the local team, you’ll also engage with Alignment.io members across California, New York, Europe, and Asia, gaining a truly global perspective and network. This setup fosters strong teamwork, rapid learning, and meaningful connections as we build something impactful together.
Qualifications
Located within the greater Salt Lake City, UT area and able to work in-office five days a week.
Experience in a general sales role or a related field such as hospitality, customer service, or similar client-facing positions.
Ability to proactively engage new clients through email and phone outreach, demonstrating persistence and resilience.
A high sense of urgency with the ability to adapt and pivot in dynamic conversations.
Strong communication skills to passionately and clearly articulate the value of Alignment.io to CEOs and executives.
Collaborate with the team to define, execute, and optimize prospecting approaches through A/B testing and feedback loops.
A team-player attitude with a commitment to improving internal processes beyond your core responsibilities.

Compensation
On-Target Earnings (OTE): $80,000
Base Salary Range: $42,000 to $50,000
