Structural & Architectural Focus
We are seeking a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) to join a dynamic and growing engineering team working on residential, commercial, and mixed-use development projects. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and has the qualifications to stamp and approve structural engineering plans for submission to local jurisdictions.
Position Responsibilities
Perform structural design and analysis for buildings and infrastructure projects
Review, stamp, and approve engineering drawings and calculations
Coordinate with drafters, architects, and project managers to ensure compliance with local codes and engineering standards
Assist with permitting documentation and construction administration
Conduct site visits and inspections as needed
Maintain professional licensing requirements and continuing education
Minimum Qualifications
Education (one of the following must be met):
Bachelor’s degree or higher from an EAC/ABET or CEAB accredited engineering program
Foreign degree in an engineering program deemed equivalent by an NCEES Credentials Evaluation
Post-graduate degree from an institution offering the same EAC/ABET or CEAB accredited program
Experience & Licensing:
Completed engineering experience requirements per Utah Administrative Rule R156-22-302e
Passed the NCEES Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam
Passed the NCEES Principles and Practice of Engineering (PE) exam
Active Professional Engineer license in the State of Utah or ability to obtain via reciprocity
Preferred Attributes
Experience with structural systems and construction materials (steel, wood, concrete, masonry)
Proficiency with structural analysis tools (e.g., RISA, ETABS, AutoCAD, Revit)
Strong communication and coordination skills
Ability to work independently while meeting project deadlines
