The ideal candidate will assist with both accounts payable and receivable tasks, ensuring timely and accurate billing while maintaining positive relationships with our clients. This role requires critical thinking, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Key Responsibilities:
Invoice Management: Prepare, issue, and follow up on customer invoices to ensure timely payments.
Customer Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries regarding invoices, payment terms, and account discrepancies.
Account Reconciliation: Assist in the monthly reconciliation of accounts receivable ledgers, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies promptly.
Reporting: Generate and maintain accounts receivable reports, tracking outstanding balances and aging accounts to facilitate collections efforts.
Data Entry: Enter and maintain customer information and transaction details in the accounting software, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in accounting or finance preferred.
Minimum of two years of basic accounting experience.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
