Environmental Technician II will be responsible for handling and management of non-hazardous and hazardous waste, working full time at a customer site.   The technician must be familiar with the EPA and DOT regulations regarding inspections, accumulation, labeling and shipment of waste.Primary Responsibilities:Perform daily and weekly inspections of the customer site, for leaks, spills, and collection of waste from satellite accumulation areas.Perform cleanup of small leaks or spills in accordance with company and customer health and safety guidelines.Use forklift and/or pallet jack as needed for movement of containers and loading of trailers.  Inventory and label containers in accordance with EPA and DOT regulations prior to shipment.Maintain adequate supplies for collection and shipment of waste and recyclable materials.Conduct collection of, and cleaning/decontamination of containers and equipment.Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by management.Pay starts at $22/hour; final rate will reflect experience and skills
