Find your future with us.Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a First-Line Quality Manager to support our Quality team in Salt Lake City, Utah .The Quality Manager will be responsible for inspection activities, production control, and process improvement. In this role, there will be regular interaction with the cross-functional production support team, operations, senior leadership, and regulatory agencies. This leader can efficiently implement solutions in an ever-evolving environment by relying on problem-solving, data, and analysis to drive decisions. Manages, develops, and motivates employees while performing management activities across multiple (2 or more) Quality Management job functions.

Develops and implements business plans, policies, procedures, and organizational and technical strategies.

Provides education and coaching on the Quality System.

Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements.

Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports.

Performs one-on-one coaching and counseling with direct reports.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite.The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

3+ years of experience leading and managing a team

5+ years of manufacturing and/or quality experience

1+ years of experience in root cause analysis and corrective action

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

1+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Bachelors degree
