Job DescriptionNBCUniversal’s Owned Television station in the KULX Telemundo Salt Lake City area, KULX, is looking for a skilled Multiplatform Producer to join our award-winning team. The multiplatform producer will be responsible for creating content for our audience to continue elevating our digital, social media, streaming content, and newscasts.We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about news, loves breaking news and has a creative vision for crafting live programs. You’ll work closely with managers to create innovative, up-to-the-minute content that resonates with our audiences no matter what platform they are on.  This is a great opportunity to work with and learn from some of the best journalists in the market!ResponsibilitiesUnderstand and follow all Telemundo Utah News and NBC standards and ethics.Create daily digital content using a variety of sources for multiplatform distribution – Website, App, social media, Fast channel, OTT and linear.Work with the news desk and producers to publish and follow breaking news, including sending push alerts.Monitor a variety of video sources to identify content that would appeal to our audiences.Support reporters and talent with the creation of original digital content.Contribute to the creation of videos series for OTT, FAST and all platforms.Fill in on the assignment desk as needed.Fill as news producer as needed, and responsible for multiple newscast production, content, and elements of the shows.Select, assign, write, and organize news stories. Write news scripts, headlines, teases and topicals.Stay on the cutting-edge of digital multimedia trends and innovation.Consistently show a solid news judgment.Stay up to date with local and national news stories.Be a problem solver who can make decisions under stress and tight deadlines. Translate content between English and Spanish when needed.Coordinate and monitor the streaming of live events and newscasts on our platforms.Understand newscast mission, station priorities and be familiar with all the platforms.
