• Experience. One year experience or current technician school student
• Certification. Pharmacy technicians that are either certified, Utah licensed, or have current enrollment in tech training program
Responsibilities:
• Ability to solve problems and make recommendations, e.g., troubleshoot operational problems and refer for appropriate action.
• Proficient in speaking, writing, and understanding English.
• Proficient in communicating with patients and staff in a professional manner. This includes customer service skills, phone skills, and medical record documentation skills.
• Proficient in typing, keyboarding, and using office equipment.
• Display a cooperative attitude and effectively work in a team dynamic to implement the mission and goals of the VA organization.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and stock pharmacy supplies. This includes transport of supplies to wards, cache, or individual prescriptions.
