Operates manufacturing equipment and in-process instrumentation to manufacture regulated products in accordance to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), company policy and safety regulations. Works on assignments that are routine in nature where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required. Position requires attention to detail and fine motor dexterity. Normally receives no instruction on routine work and general instruction on new assignments. Position requires direct supervision or oversight by a senior employee. Works under immediate supervision of the BioReagents Lead Packaging Technician or FilmArray Pouch Line Lead and reports to the Idaho Technology BioReagents or FilmArray Production Manager. Principal Job Duties and Responsibilities: Performs all work in compliance with company policy and within the guidelines of Idaho Technology’s Quality System.

Assembles regulated products and sub-assemblies including medical devices.

Operates Production Equipment

Maintains records in compliance with regulatory requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices, and Standard Operating Procedures.

Relies on instructions and pre-established written guidelines to perform job functions.

Works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature where judgment is required in resolving problems.

Responsible for maintaining organization and cleanliness of all designated manufacturing areas.

Provide training when necessary to the new technicians in your area.

May assist with in-process testing to assure batches meet specifications.

Performs additional tasks as assigned by management.

Must be able to perform duties wearing a Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR).

QualificationsTraining and Education: Demonstrated proficiency as a Manufacturing Tech I based upon management approval. Must be willing to take on additional responsibilities, and must have 1 year of GMP production experience. Skills: Be able to safely lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs. Must have good written and oral communication skills.Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform duties wearing a Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR).
