OverviewGovCIO is currently hiring for a Project Analyst to coordinate with Program Managers to update project schedules and update program data into GovCIO's management system, CONNECT. This position will be a fully remote position within the Unided States with occasional travel required.ResponsibilitiesCoordinates with business and technology teams, ascertaining system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, and system techniques and controls. Provides technical/functional expertise in identifying, evaluating, developing, and supporting systems. They have the business knowledge and perspective of a particular business and the IT needs of that customer. Requires knowledge of computer system capabilities, business processes, and work flows. May also be functional experts in financial, program control or logistical areas.

Analyzes business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems.

Interfaces between systems architects/programmers and users located in a specialized area to ensure that information technology designs meet the needs of the end users within an organization.

Documents product/service requirements and develops test procedures to ensure user requests are carried out.

Interacts with testing requirements to ensure traceability and test coverage.

Requires general-logic knowledge of system capabilities without necessarily the ability to program.

The successful candidate will meet regularly via Microsoft Teams with the Director of Operations and Program Managers to maintain and update project schedules, milestones, and risk registers for each program. Will also update personnel and customer data for each program. Will assist with the generation of monthly reports and slides to meet contract deliverables.QualificationsHigh School with 6 - 9 years (or commensurate experience)Required Skills and Experience

Clearance Required: None

2+ years of experience managing project schedules in MS Project or similar scheduling software.

Experience engaging with stakeholders to help maintain project schedules and setup schedules for new customers.

Analytical skills to review program data in ServiceNow to identify and correct inconsistencies.

Ability to compile data and help develop monthly status reports and slides.

Experience managing project schedules in ServiceNow

Experience in the defense contracting industry
