Every day you will collaborate with your team of 2-4 analysts, you will drive revenue capture across a wide range of clinical services. To thrive in this role, you must have experience working with data and have in interest in healthcare.Key Responsibilities
Navigate hospital EMR and billing systems to conduct patient-specific clinical documentation research and validate hospital reporting;
Build and maintain expertise in Medicare billing, coding, and reimbursement policies;
Support algorithm research, development, and maintenance for the purpose of processing hospital data to uncover medical reporting inaccuracies that lead to underpayments;
Mine, research, and identify treatment patterns to identify predictive indicators of care;
Interact effectively with consulting teams to perform reviews, provide recommendations, and communicate project results for R1/Cloudmed’s clients;
Drive new discoveries and knowledge depth related to clinical focus areas, including medical coding, charge capture, billing and CDI practices;
Utilize R1/Cloudmed and client software platforms to manage account information and workflow between internal departments and consulting teams
Required Qualifications
1+ years of experience working directly in healthcare or data focused role
Proficiency with Excel at an intermediate level
For this US-based position, the base pay range is $43,948.00 - $67,072.00 per year .
