Senior Performance Test Engineer will help to create enterprise-level performance test strategies, plans, tools, and processes and mentor junior team members in contributing to a performance testing discipline. The successful candidate will take a hands-on role to design scenarios and workflows that test stability,
endurance, scalability, response time, etc. They will also be responsible for reporting on key metrics
indicating software performance on a multitude of different customer usage scenarios.

Responsibilities:
• Assist in building a centralized product performance testing practice by playing a hands-on role in
providing technical expertise and guidance in the area of product performance, load testing and
software engineering.
• Develop, communicate and execute performance, load and stress testing. You will be responsible
to create structured test plans, which include goals, priorities, approaches, methods, procedures,
tracking and statuses in support of our business.
• Identify/implement tools, environments, test cases, metrics, etc. to help improve the ongoing
program of product performance and load testing.
• Work with Software Development teams to conduct performance prototyping, system capacity
modeling and projections, performance-driven design recommendations, performance baselining
and other related work to improve overall system performance.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to ensure that release commitments are met on time and
with high quality, as well as, working closely with other engineers and managers to ensure
consistency, synergy and teamwork across the organization.
• Assist Software Development engineering team members on duties such as analysis, design,
coding, debugging, automation and testing, documentation, support, maintenance, managing
releases and updates.
• Embrace a culture of accountability for ensuring our systems have minimal defects and adheres
to company standards; including tracking test coverage and performance, while investigating and
understanding production defect pattern.

cooperation, collaboration, and conflict resolution.

Minimum Experience & Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required
• 4+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on building and ensuring software
performance engineering practice in a software delivery environment
• 4+ years hands-on experience with load and performance testing tools
• Thorough, practical understanding of throughput, latency, memory and CPU utilization in an onprem
and cloud-based infrastructure environment
• Strong personal commitment to quality engineering, continuous testing and CI/CD principles
• Experience creating, implementing and maintaining automated performance tests in CI/CD
development pipeline.
• Demonstrable programming skills in C#, JavaScript, Groovy, Java or other programming
language is required.
• Exceptional English language communication skills (written and oral)
• Demonstrable ability to self-motivate and be flexible within a fast-paced environment
• Team player and mentor with a proactive bias and optimistic outlook
• Superior organizational skills, self-driven with attention to detail and follow-through on tasks
• Creativity combined with innovation and constantly looking for ways to win
