About the RoleAs the VP of Global Content and Campaigns Marketing, you will oversee Pearson’s company-wide content marketing strategy and campaign delivery across channels. This role works closely with the Chief Marketing Officer, Chief Strategy Officer, Pearson Research and Insights, the Pearson Executive Management team and their teams to help shape the issues-driven content agenda, including orchestrating such programs as WEF, focusing very closely on Pearson’s business priorities.As our ideal candidate, you'll have a proven track record of partnering with senior leaders and subject matter experts early in the content development process to establish compelling hypotheses and impactful narratives that will resonate with clients and targets. Taking advantage of global investments in market research and major launch moments you will champion customized content programs to drive more value for the organization.In this highly strategic role, you will rely on having demonstrated expertise in building breakthrough content marketing campaigns that are innovative, impactful and memorable. You'll be at home orchestrating the complete company-wide content agenda, in close collaboration with Research and Insights, which will form the backbone to Pearson’s 360-degree marketing campaign program and event platform strategy.Success in this role relies on effective networking and exceptional interpersonal skills. We’re looking for a flexible team player with excellent problem-solving skills, ingenuity and a high level of comfort working across multiple initiatives, project teams and stakeholders to grow Pearson’s leadership position in the learning market. Other key success factors for this role include metrics-driven pragmatism balanced by a passion for challenging the status-quo and trying new things. Self-assurance and diplomacy required for managing senior stakeholders are must -haves as well.About YouEducation : Bachelor's Degree or other four-year university degree or equivalent, preferably in English, journalism, marketing, public relations or communications.Work Experience : Minimum 18+ years of experience in marketing, business development and/or communications, with strong experience in internal and executive communications – along with a solid understanding of technology, research and learning. B2B and B2B2C experience preferred.Knowledge and Skills:

About Your Compensation & BenefitsCompensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location.
