DescriptionWheeler Machinery Co. Is seeking to hire a Rental Yard Worker at their Salt Lake City, Utah location. It is required to keep safety first in all tasks while utilizing TRACK/Tyfoom. This will be a full-time benefited position responsible for cleaning and maintaining rental equipment for our customers. Safety is the MAIN PRIORITY of this position.Duties & Responsibilities:
Shipping and receiving every item that comes in and out of the yard
Responsible for loading & unloading machinery
Cleaning machines and maintaining the machine storage areas.
Responsible for keeping accurate inventory and recording damaged machines.
Exceptional customer service
Responsible to check in / checkout rental equipment
Responsible to load / unload sales dept equipment
Responsible for staging and performing pre-rental checks.
Responsible for maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the yard
Responsible to keep rental equipment clean and in rental-ready condition.
Responsible for all shipping/ receiving paperwork
Maintain, inventory sales department equipment
Assist rental coordinator with rental contracts
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Must be able to work safely, identify hazards, and assist in corrective activities
Must be a self-starter and accomplish work with minimum supervision
Excellent customer service skills are a must
Ability to solve problems and work under pressure
Good computer skills
Must be flexible as schedule requires
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior shipping and receiving experience
Prior rental experience is a benefit
