Tin Angel is a restaurant inside the Eccles Theater. We are open for dining before shows in the theater. The menu is an eclectic mix of appetizers, soups, salads, creative entrees, desserts and cocktails. I am seeking someone who is organized, thoughtful, even tempered, creative and reliable. I am a hands on Owner/ General Manger. I like to hire friendly folks to help us create a nice dining experience for guests while having fun and working hard together. This is a flexible job. Some months there lots of shows and some months are less busy. The great part is the schedule is up months ahead of time and my staff just picks up the shifts they want on a scheduling app. Many of us are skiers, campers, river runners, travelers etc because this job is so flexible and we can plan so far ahead. We are only open for a few hours before each show. The shift starts in the afternoon for prep, usually between 1pm and 3pm depending on how much there is to do. We open 2 hours before every showusually around 5:30 pm and then when the show starts (usually around 7:30 or 8pm), we clean up and go home! We are usually done and out of here before 9pm. We are coming up on a busy time with lots of shows. We do work hard while we are here. The cuisine we are aiming for is elevated but approachable and I would like to bring someone on to the kitchen who wants to get creative with some new menu items for the Springtime! We do all the dishes together at the end of the shift rather than having a dedicated dishwasher position because this service is almost like a banquet, in that it all happens in a short time. I am looking for someone to take on the dessert and hot appetizers station. It would be nice to hire a person who wants to work all the shows when we have them and then take the breaks when they come We are closed when there is not a show so sometimes we have 2 or 3 weeks off and then come back to a long show run with 8 shows a week for a while It's a positive, supportive work environment. Responsibilities
