Wasatch Exotic Pet Care is the only veterinary practice in Utah dedicated exclusively to the care of exotic pet species. We care for small mammals, reptiles, birds, aquatics, and wildlife. We have recently moved into our brand new facility, are growing like crazy and have receptionist positions to fill . We are looking for primarily part-time, but will consider full-time employment for the right people. Wasatch Exotic Pet Care is open seven days a week, and we are willing to work around students' school schedules.
We welcome applicants of all experience levels. All applicants should have great communication skills, be able to multi-task in a busy environment, and should be willing to learn. A base knowledge of exotic pet species is very beneficial.
Receptionist Responsibilities:
Answering and fielding phone calls, including multiple phone lines
Scheduling appointments and checking clients in and out
Cashiering
Maintaining retail inventory
Filing and other basic clerical duties
Some light cleaning (dusting, sweeping, mopping)
Should have good customer service skills, including the ability to handle highly emotional situations
