A Denver, Colorado Underground Wet Utility Construction Company located in Commerce City is seeking an individual for the full-time position of Estimator. The candidate should possess good math, oral and written communication skills, as well as, an understanding of sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and watermain installation. Duties to include, but are not limited to, the following:
Quantification of sanitary, storm, and watermain improvements
Understanding of insurance and bonds.
Understanding of contracts (and subcontracts)
Understanding of specifications
Understanding of sales and use taxes
Invoicing/billing
Change orders
Submittals
Construction schedules (MS Project helpful, but not required)
Plan reading
Claims
Marketing
Budgets
Purchase orders
Strong math skills
Knowledge of MS Excel & Word
A knowledge of HCSS estimating software is helpful, but not required. This is a full time salaried position with bonus and company vehicle. Benefits include, after 90 days, health care (100% for employee), vacation, holidays, and 401k (3% matching after 1 year). Possible relocation assistance offered for the RIGHT CANDIDATE.
