About the Role

Whether you're new to the industry or a seasoned tech, AudioWorks is hiring across all levels for our field team. From Installer to Lead Technician, our positions are proficiency-based, meaning we hire for capability—not just titles. We'll evaluate your skills during the hiring process and place you in the right tier to accelerate your growth through our exclusive training track.

This role puts you in the heart of luxury home projects—installing and integrating AV, network, lighting control, shades, surveillance, and automation systems. You’ll work with best-in-class tools and products, alongside a team that values doing it right, talking it out, and making someone’s day.

What You'll Do

Install and integrate smart home technologies (audio/video, home networking, lighting/shading control, surveillance, energy management, etc.)

Work on-site in luxury homes across Utah

Troubleshoot issues with creativity and confidence

Collaborate closely with other trades, project managers, and designers

Maintain neat, labeled, and future-ready wiring and hardware

Use and care for high-quality tools and gear (we provide specialty tools)

Maintain documentation and communicate project status updates

Represent AudioWorks with professionalism, respect, and pride

Qualifications

Required

Exceptional problem-solving and mechanical aptitude

Familiarity with hand and power tools

Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and coachability

Desire to grow your skills in a fast-paced, high-standard environment

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Willingness to work in attics, crawlspaces, and on ladders as needed

Bonus Points For

Experience with Savant, Control4, Lutron, or other control systems

Comfort with networking and IP-based systems

Experience reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and schematics

Relevant certifications (CEDIA, CTS, OSHA, etc.)
