Owen Equipment, an Owen Company, is looking to hire a Prep Crew Technician to join our growing Service Technician Mechanic team. We are one of the largest Vactor and Elgin dealers in the United States and sell, service and rent sewer cleaners, vacuum excavators, street sweepers and related accessories. We are also a leading upfitter of service bodies and snow equipment and are an official dealer for such leading brands as IMT, Henke, Wausau-Everest, Swenson Spreader Co., and Oshkosh. We maintain five full-service locations in Portland, Oregon; Kent, Washington; Spokane, Washington; Fairfield, California; and Salt Lake City, Utah and our customer base consists of the largest municipalities and contractors in the Western U.S. Our equipment is critical to keeping our streets and sewer systems clean, clearing snow, locating buried infrastructure during construction projects, and helping to build and maintain our electrical grid.

Salary: $18.00 - $24.00 an hour depending on experience.

Prep Crew Technician
As a Prep Crew Technician to our Service/Installation Department, you will be working on dump, service, and platform bodies along with snow equipment and occasional miscellaneous heavy equipment. You will also be installing small equipment and accessories, performing Quality Control inspections, preparing vehicles for delivery and delivering the finished product to the customer. You may often be asked to pick up parts for the shop.
Requirements:
Light duty welding competency
Light mechanical skills
Attention to detail
Valid driver’s license
Must be insurable
A complete toolset
Able to work 40+ hours a week
