Owen Equipment is looking to hire an experienced Heavy Equipment Service Technician Mechanic to join our growing team. We areone of the largest Vactor and Elgin dealers in the United States and sell, service and rent sewer cleaners, vacuum excavators, street sweepers and related accessories. We are also a leading upfitter of service bodies and snow equipment and are an official dealer for such leading brands as IMT, Henke, Wausau-Everest, Swenson Spreader Co., and Oshkosh. We maintain four full-service locations in Portland, Oregon; Kent, Washington; Fairfield, California; and Salt Lake City, Utah and our customer base consists of the largest municipalities and contractors in the Western U.S. Our equipment is critical to keeping our streets and sewer systems clean, clearing snow, locating buried infrastructure during construction projects, and helping to build and maintain our electrical grid.

Salary: $25.00 - $35.00 an hour depending on experience.

Service Technician Mechanic Description:
As a Service Technician Mechanic, you will be working on sewer cleaners, vacuum excavators, street sweepers and related accessories in addition to service bodies and snow equipment.
Requirements:
Experience in hydraulics, electrical and pneumatic systems on different types of machinery.
A complete toolset, clean driving record, and the ability to pass a drug screening.
Willing to learn both Electrical and Hydraulic schematics.
Experience with street sweepers and combination sewer cleaning trucks a plus.
Willing to obtain a Class B CDL.
