The Transfer of Asset (TOA) team within Operations offers a unique opportunity to work in a critical function of ETRADE Financial. The team works closely with our customers, contra firms and internal business partners to deliver seamless and timely transfer experiences.
RESPONIBILITIES- Review client requests and ensure all required documents are obtained and in good order.- Appropriately communicating with clients and internal support when the requirements are not met.
- Validate submissions appropriately and within the proper timeframes to meet SLA (Service Level Agreements).Assist with daily reporting.
- Provide transfer support to front office representatives.
- Identify areas in the transfer process that can be more efficient and where potential exposures can be minimized.
- Build relationships with other operational teams that lend to the client experience.
- Work with outside firms to resolve transfer-related concerns, coordinate the receive or delivery of assets.
Requirements / Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience
1–3 years of experience in operations, financial services, or similar environment (asset transfers experience a plus)
Strong attention to detail with the ability to review documentation and catch discrepancies
Comfortable working in high-volume, deadline-driven environments and meeting SLAs
Solid communication skills: able to follow up with contra firms and internal teams when needed
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and ability to work across multiple systems
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests at once
Nice to have:
Familiarity with brokerage products and account types
Experience working with external firms or handling exceptions/escalations
