Job Summary:
Full time laborer position at a ranch in Toquerville, UT. Involves a variety of daily tasks including car detailing, landscaping, livestock care, and maintenance of buildings and properties. Pay is based on qualifications and experience. Housing is not provided.
Vehicle and Equipment Care and Maintenance:
o Thoroughly power wash, clean and detail inside and outside of vehicles, including cars, trucks, tractors, trailers, and other machinery and equipment on various properties.
o Perform routine maintenance checks, oil changes and minor repairs on vehicles.
o Ensure all vehicles are in good working condition, full of fuel and ready for use.
Landscaping:
o Maintain the properties through regular mowing, trimming, edging, weeding, fertilizing, pest control and “desert wise” watering.
o Assist with planting, watering, and caring for trees, shrubs, plants, and other landscape and hardscape necessities.
o Manage irrigation systems. Repair, maintain and use irrigation and sprinkler lines
General Property Maintenance:
o Assist with the upkeep and care of buildings, fences, and other infrastructures.
o Perform routine maintenance tasks, including welding, painting, repairs, and cleaning.
o Help with feeding and caring for livestock as needed.
o Cleaning out corrals and stall maintenance
o Daily check feed and watering troughs for animals, as necessary
Operational Support:
o Assist with loading and unloading livestock, supplies and equipment.
o Participate in seasonal tasks such as winterization of equipment.
Equipment Experience:
o Skidsteer, tractors, back hoes, loaders, fork lift, large and small equipment used.
Qualifications:
Preferred experience in working with livestock, landscaping, vehicle maintenance, or general labor preferred.
Strong work ethic with a willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor.
