The Magic Mountain Children's Center is seeking a Director. The Center is licensed for up to 28 children, infant to preschool age. The Director will foster a nurturing and enriching environment to children from 8 weeks to 5 years of age.
Responsibilities of the Director include staff supervision, scheduling, staff professional development, oversight of curriculum development, parent communication and education, compliance with State licensing requirements and STARS criteria, and electronic reporting.
The minimum qualifications for the position are those of a Teacher Associate under the Vermont Early Childhood Education Regulations, although the ideal candidate would hold a Bachelor's or Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education, or a related field. Prior experience with staff management and oversight is required. The ideal candidate with have great comprehension of child development, management of staff, state regulations and the ability to communicate with families and the community.
