Walker Tutoring Services offers one-on-one tutoring services to students of all ages. We work with students on math, science, test prep, writing, humanities, and study skills tutoring. We are currently looking for someone with experience tutoring students in standardized test preparation (SAT and ACT), as well as candidates who could assist with literacy and general study skills.

Required:
-Bachelor’s degree
-Experience tutoring for SAT and ACT preparation
-Ability to meet in person in the Burlington, VT area
-A joy in the challenge of finding many ways to explain concepts
-Extensive one-on-one education experience
-A strong desire to help all students succeed
-An ability to communicate appropriately with students, parents, and school systems
-Flexible afternoon and evening schedule
-Vibrant, warm, engaging personality with a knack for connecting with students
-Organized and detail oriented around record keeping and communication
-Commitment through school year ‘25-’26 (longer preferred)
Preferred:
-Certified teacher
-Ability to tutor additional subjects and ages
-Familiarity with other standardized tests (e.g. SSAT, MCAT, ASVAB)
-Experience working with students with special needs
-Understanding of needs of homeschooled students
-Longer commitment
