Description We are in search of an Accounts Payable Manager to join our team based in Burlington, Massachusetts. Operating within the High Tech - Pharm/Biotech industry, the chosen candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of payables, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring that all financial transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Oversee all payable entries, including the review of monthly AP reconciliations. Scrutinize invoice entries made by AP staff for proper approvals and coding. Regularly monitor cash flow, ensuring payments are made correctly and on schedule. Establish guidelines for the appropriate handling and coding of invoices to maintain general ledger expense account and inventory records. Evaluate expense reports and other invoices for accuracy and eligibility for payment. Manage the accounts payable inbox, addressing employee and third-party vendor questions and issues related to AP matters. Reconcile vendor accounts by verifying monthly statements and related transactions. Trace transactions through previous accounting actions to resolve discrepancies. Maintain accurate recordkeeping of purchases for tax preparation and periodic audits. Onboard new vendors in accordance with company policy, managing due diligence processes.
