What We Are SeekingWe are seeking a Director of Product Management for Commerce Cloud Platform to strategize, define and deliver services and developer experience initiatives within Commerce Cloud.Developer experience & scale are critical elements for success and differentiation of any Platform as a Service. It is of particular importance to Commerce Cloud as we embark on the journey to build the next generation of API-first Commerce Platform. In this role you will be responsible for:

Own the product management lifecycle: research opportunities and pain points, drive the vision, define how the solution will work and related user experiences, analyze data and customer feedback

Continually improve developer experience of every aspect our current Commerce Platform by surgically deploying fixes across our full Tech stack. This is an initiative with direct customer and ACV impact.

Drive commercialization of scale by creating service limits, tiered service quotas and by defining a free trial option consistently across all services in our platform

Be the Product Owner(PO) for Platform Engineering teams to lay out an appealing vision, build a technical roadmap and execute against it

The candidate must be able to demonstrate an ability to manage a product from conception through to market success. This includes articulating the product strategy (and how that strategy supports broader platform and business unit strategies), understanding the market needs being addressed by the product, executing a clear plan iteratively to create a product satisfying those needs, and driving adoption and commercial success of a product once launched. The ideal candidate would have familiarity with API-first design principles, including a domain driven design approach, and experience building platforms.Reasons to join our team

Required Skills:

Building and scaling cloud products and services from ground up

Ability to make informed and timely decisions, based on data but in the face of uncertainty

Excellent teamwork and collaboration

Ability to engage in and influence technical discussions with engineering teams

Make technology-related trade-off decisions

Excellent written and verbal communication

Bachelor’s Degree in Technology or related field

Desired Experience

Demonstrated ability of having conceived and successfully brought a Platform o market

10+ years of product management experience in a SaaS / cloud company, ideally one leveraging public cloud

Knowledge of Agile development techniques and experience as a product owner in a SCRUM environment

MBA
