Description We are on the lookout for a proficient Lockbox Remittance Processor to join our team in Burlington, Vermont. In this role, you will be handling and depositing remittances, managing documents, and addressing customer inquiries. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity in the industry.Responsibilities: Handle and deposit remittances received by mail in an efficient manner. Maintain and manage files and documents related to remittances. Address customer inquiries promptly and professionally. Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions as required. Ensure accurate credit records of customers are maintained. Utilize skills in Lock Box, Deposits, Staffing, Processor, Remittance, and Photocopying/Scanning documents effectively to perform tasks. Process customer applications and maintain accurate customer records. Resolve any issues related to customer credit applications. Use your knowledge of remittance processing to enhance operations. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the improvement of processes. Requirements Proficiency in handling deposits, with a keen understanding of financial transactions. Experience in staffing roles, with an emphasis on team coordination and project management. Familiarity with processor tasks, including data processing and system maintenance. Knowledge of remittance processing, including the handling of payments and invoices. Expertise in managing lock box operations, with a focus on security and organization. Ability to perform photocopying and scanning tasks, with attention to detail and document management.
