Are you a detailed organized person interested in starting a career that impacts patient health? Do you have previous experience in purchasing, warehouse, and/or inventory? LabCorp is seeking a Purchasing Specialist to join our DNA team in Burlington, NC! This position works within a small team and is responsible for supporting inventory management for the entire DNA facility.This position will have first shift hours from 8:00AM 5:00PM, Monday - Friday.Responsibilities:
Daily review of open replenishment requests
Ordering supplies
Shipment receiving
Picking and packing
Restocking inventory throughout the facility
Inventory reporting
Performing cycle counts
Work closely with corporate purchasing to clear up pass due receipts.
Offsite transport in company vehicle to warehouse and office locations as needed
Receiving and processing inventory in Peoplesoft
Other duties as assigned by management.
RequirementsRequirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
1 years of relatable experience in warehouse, inventory, or purchasing preferred
Strong attention to detail
Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Must be able to work in a team oriented environment.
Must have positive attitude
Must be able to lift up to 30lbs consistently
Must be at least 21 years of age due to driving requirements and will be subject to an MVR as a condition of hire.
