We are recruiting for a full-time physician with an interest in treating patients with genitourinary cancers for our Burlington practice. Experience in prostate brachytherapy is desirable.The University of Vermont Medical Center is the only tertiary referral center for the catchment area of northern Vermont and Northern Upstate New York, and it is a referral center for Pediatric Oncology as well as a number of surgical subspecialties including Neurosurgery, ENT and Gynecologic Oncology.Across our three sites, the group sees over 1,200 new patients each year and delivers approximately 25,000 treatments. We have a total of five IGRT -capable linear accelerators (three at UVMMC ), and perform stereotactic radiosurgery, stereotactic body radiotherapy, high-dose rate brachytherapy and prostate seed brachytherapy. The medical community is supportive and vibrant. The department is an integral part of the University of Vermont Cancer Center and there is an expectation that a successful candidate will have academic skills and interest to support an increasingly academic practice.This is a Clinical Scholar Pathway position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Professor.
