Provide high quality professional service to Agents and Companies.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESFollowing is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Underwrite new and renewal business.

Meet or exceed production goals as assigned by TAPCO.

Make approvals and disapprovals of endorsement quote requests according to internal and Company guidelines.

Develop and maintain excellent relationships with clients.

Market TAPCO products and services to clients.

Instruct support staff on the handling of cancellation and non-renewal notices according company requirements.

Review inspection reports and compare to the conditions that were represented to us at the time of quoting and binding and take appropriate or needed actions

Maintain necessary licenses to produce business.

QUALIFICATIONSRequired Qualifications:The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Licensed in corresponding areas of insurance or willing to obtain appropriate licensures upon hire

Ability to understand and analyze necessary components of insurance policies

Ability to understand the client's needs and have knowledge of the risk profiles associated

Ability to recognize new trends and developments in the insurance industry and be able to incorporate into strategies

Knowledge of commercial multi-line underwriting and rating

Ability to use company automation to include Windows, Word, Excel, TAPSYS

Ability to develop, foster, and maintain an excellent working relationship with agencies

Ability to exercise discretion in making decisions

Leadership and team playing skills

Ability to maintain current knowledge of the insurance industry

Good written and verbal skills

Good telephone communication skills and phone etiquette

Ability to maintain travel schedule depending on the needs of the company

Ability to work extended hours when necessary

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or appropriate insurance designation

Three years of experience in production and marketing of new accounts
