We are seeking full time or part time Food Production Assistant and Cafe Crew Members to join our team!
As a Food Production Assistant, you will assist in the food preparation, production, cleaning, cooking, packaging, and delivering products to stores.
Responsibilities:
Food preparation and production
Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Follow all facility food safety policies and procedures to adhere to all State, Federal, VOSHA, sanitation and food production codes
Clean, wash and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances
Maintenance and cleanliness of production facility
Deliver products to Coops/Supermarkets in timely manner
Stock and rotate store shelves
Schedule: We have multiple schedule options.
1) Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm,
2) Weekday Part-time schedule, 8am - 12 or 1pm
As our Cafe Crew Member, you will be responsible for:
Greeting customers with a smile
Taking accurate food orders
Preparing and serving our delicious Nepalese food
Provide exceptional customer service
Restaurant and BOH Cleanliness, maintain food safety and sanitation standards
Ensuring items are well stocked
A friendly, enthusiastic attitude
Passion for helping and serving others (both customers and crew members)
Desire to learn how to cook
Process light paperwork
Schedule: We have multiple flexible schedule options available.
1) Wednesday - Friday: 4pm-8.30pm;
2) Weekend :12pm - 8.30pm; 2pm-8.30pm; 4pm-8.30pm)
3) Flexible mix of weekdays and weekend - Monday - Friday: 8 - 3.30; M-F 8am-1pm or Wed-Fri 4-8.30pm and weekend 12pm - 8.30pm; 2pm-8.30pm; 4pm-8.30pm
Qualifications:
No experience needed - will train
Clean and healthy hygiene
Strong attention to detail
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work well in teams
Ability to handle physical workload/Able to lift 20-40 lbs
Deadline-oriented.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
