Positions:

Host (part-time) - As a host at the Tillerman, you’ll be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for a memorable dining experience. You’ll greet and welcome guests, manage reservations, and ensure a smooth flow of guests into the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

-Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.

-Manage reservations and seating arrangements to ensure efficient table turnover.

-Assist guests with inquiries, provide information about the menu and direct them to their tables.

-Answer the phone and assist with take-out orders.

-Maintain a clean and organized entrance and dining area.

-Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management.

-Uphold a positive and professional demeanor, even during busy periods.

-Handle guest complaints or concerns with grace and resolve issues quickly.

-Assist with opening and closing duties as needed.

Qualifications:

-Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus but not required.

-Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable personality.

-Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

-Professional appearance and a positive attitude.

-Availability to work evenings and weekends a must

Food Runner/Bar Back (part-time): As a Food Runner at the Tillerman, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests receive their food quickly and efficiently. You’ll work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house staff to deliver a seamless dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

-Delivering food orders to tables promptly and accurately.

-Ensuring all food orders are correct before serving to customers.

-Communicating effectively with kitchen staff to manage order timing and special requests.

-Assisting servers with setting up tables and clearing plates.

-Maintaining cleanliness in the dining area and assisting with restocking supplies.

-Providing excellent customer service by being friendly, professional, and responsive to guest needs.

-Supporting the team to create a positive, energetic atmosphere for both staff and guests.

-Support bartender by stocking product, refilling ice, running items up from the cellar.

Qualifications:

-Previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment is a plus, but not required.

-Ability to work efficiently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

-Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

-A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

-Must be able to stand for long periods.

-Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends a must.

Compensation:

$25-$35 an hour (hourly pay plus tips)
