Are you seeking flexible part-time work in a dynamic environment? The Traveling Bohemian is currently hiring housekeepers to join our team.
Position: Hotel Housekeeper
Pay: $20 - $25 per hour depending on experience
Schedule: Part-time, with flexible shifts available 7 days a week, approximately 11am - 3:30pm
Responsibilities:
- Clean, organize, and maintain guest rooms
- Change bedding, take out trash/recycling, disinfect, dust, polish, and detail furnishings
- Vacuum and mop guest rooms
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms and kitchenettes
- Replenish amenities like towels, soaps, and shampoos
- Transport laundry between guest rooms and laundry back-stock
- Restock supply closets and cleaning caddies with products, linens, and amenities
- Assist with maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and reporting issues to management
- Job involves lifting, carrying, and stair climbing
Requirements:
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently
- Reliable transportation
- Prior experience in housekeeping preferred (training provided for the right candidate)
