Kimchi Packer @ Sunja’s Kimchi
Sunja’s Oriental Foods produces natural, fermented products and has been a forerunner in the fermented foods industry since 1994. Our Kimchi is sold throughout the country in terrific retail grocery chains such as Whole Foods, Fresh Market, and Kroger. We can also be found in local/independent produce sections like those at the Village Markets of VT, City Market, or the Hunger Mountain Co-op to name a few! We have been conveniently located off of I-89 in downtown Waterbury, VT for 30 years!
Our business is growing and we are looking for dedicated and reliable workers to join our team. This job entails packing our delicious kimchi into glass jars for shipment.
Food Packer Duties and Responsibilities:
-Fill containers with assigned product
-Label containers and boxes for packaging
-Package and store finished containers
-Stock station with job materials
-Clean and sanitize work station after shift
-Maintain a safe and clean workspace
-Adhere to all safety and sanitation requirements
Food Packer Requirements and Qualifications:
-A high school diploma or GED certificate preferred
-The ability to understand and follow instructions or written procedures
-Effective communication skills
-Attention to detail
-Food safety / Food service experience a plus
-Ability to work on your feet for entire shift
-Ability to lift 50lbs
Shift:
8 hour, day shift - 40 hours/week
In person in Waterbury, VT
Monday to Friday
OT and Weekend Opportunities, as needed
Pay: From $21.00 per hour
