We are seeking one or two skilled Line Cooks and a dishwasher to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a passion for cooking and experience working in a fast paced restaurant. Hours are from 7:30am-3:30pm. No night shifts, fun work environment! Free staff meal, full time workers eligible for healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment at all times
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Line Cook in a restaurant or similar environment
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
- Familiarity with industry best practices in food safety and sanitation
- Ability to work well in a team environment
